By kicking off production now, we're aiming to complete manufacturing within a minimum of 90 days. We're holding onto hope that the tariff situation will stabilize by then, allowing us to export and deliver your spooky-cute plushies without further delays. To stay prepared, we're actively pursuing contingency plans, including alternative shipping routes and potential tariff exemptions, to ensure we're ready to move the moment conditions improve.

After tirelessly working to overcome recent challenges, we had finalized a solid plan to start manufacturing Meowlloween and Campaign Critters 2nd Edition next week, with every detail in place to bring your critters to life. But today, we were blindsided by devastating news: starting November 1st, 2025, the U.S. will impose an additional 100% tariff on Chinese imports, pushing the total tariff rate to an unsustainable 130%.
This blow has left us reeling, but we refuse to let it stop us.
We're moving forward with manufacturing as planned, pouring all our energy into production with the hope that the tariff war will resolve within the 90 days we need to complete manufacturing. We're banking on a shift in trade conditions to allow us to export and deliver your whimsical, high-quality plushies without further delay. We are also actively exploring contingency plans, alternative shipping routes, potential exemptions, and more, to ensure we're ready to act the moment an opportunity arises.

Dear Campaign Critters Backers,
Hello from the Tentacle Kitty crew, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your incredible support and belief in this project. We're thrilled to bring these critters to life for you, and we want to keep you fully informed as we navigate some challenges to make that happen.
We've encountered unexpected increases in production costs that have impacted our budget for our company. To save on some expenses, we decided to produce this 2nd Edition alongside Meowlloween, but the combined effect of these unforeseen cost hikes for both projects has created a funding gap. We've spent considerable time negotiating with our manufacturer to reduce costs without sacrificing the quality that makes Campaign Critters special, and we've now reached a point where we can move forward.
To cover the funding gap and keep both projects on track, we have a clear plan to secure additional resources. We're actively implementing this plan, evaluating each step to ensure it supports our small company's long-term health, allowing us to continue creating without risking our future.
Our goal is to produce this 2nd Edition with an expected delivery timeline of late January to early February 2026, as shared during the campaign. As a quick note, manufacturing timelines have shifted industry-wide; what used to take 40 days is now estimated at 60-90 days for completion, for reasons we're still clarifying with our partners. Fortunately, this doesn't seem to affect the delivery window for this project at this time, but we will keep you informed as we go.
We're managing every step with transparency and urgency, committing everything we have to deliver these critters to you on time. Your support keeps us going, and we're so grateful for your trust. We'll share more as we progress, and we're always here if you need to chat.

CC 2nd Edition Update: Manufacturing Soon

Hi Folks,
I've been working on trying to solve issues I've come across as I am trying to get production underway. I'll be blunt and just lay them all out for you for transparency sake in no particular order.
Production: Since the tariffs are causing increased prices, I've had to try to bare bones the quantity of production. This has been a challenge as our manufacturer doesn't like making less when more is easier. BUT, I've been working with our retailers and have secured enough orders so the minimums can be met without fuss. So that should be good to go very soon.
Tariffs: Right now they are still hanging on. Our manufacturer is trying to help us as best they can, so it's not so much a challenge to overcome, but a stressful acceptance of the thing that won't go away.
Fulfillment: I've secured a solution for fulfillment that should work well for everyone involved which is a huge relief. Only issue is International, but that is still a smaller worry than US shipping (as that was the biggest issue)
I want to make sure we do this right the first time, so there's no issues going forward and we can get back on track. So please continue to bare with us as we navigate this crazy new world of ours.

So we figured it out! Seems there was a bit of a mix up in the backend stuff that overlapped some accounts into each other in a weird way. But we got it up and running and it all seems to be working according to plan!
So rest easy! Now we got to finalize everything on our end and get things a movin!
