Hi Everyone,
Sorry to keep pinging yall. The "Pay for Shipping Later" system is buggy and wonky in the most horrible way.
I've gone ahead and removed shipping for now. You might see it go back and forth up and down for the next day or so unless I can get Backerkit to disable it for now while I work on it. First it was way too expensive, then it wasn't enough to cover the actual shipping and handling, then too expensive again.
New systems are not fun. But I'll get it setup so it's actually what the costs are. Shipping is more expensive than it use to be, and with fulfillment costs it adds on top of that. but I want to get it so each person get's shipping fees that are ACCURATE and not some arbitrary workaround to get close.
Give us some grace on this, we want to do it right.
I'll reach out again when we have things fixed.

Hi Everyone,
So this is the first time we used Backerkits "Pay shipment later" feature. It could use some feedback, mainly on testing before submitting for review. It went out, and for the first 10 mins looked ok... THEN IT DIDN'T.
Plush is a challenge for shipping. They are lightweight, but bulky. and backerkit uses DIMS weight (Basically length x width x height / ~200 {depending on the carriers calculations}) and that becomes the DIMS weight instead of the actual weight. If you calculate the DIM using the normal size of the plush, the DIM skyrockets because normally it rounds everything up to 1 lbs. even a pin turns into 1 lbs under the DIM rule.
But with a bit of adjustment and calculating used the "Smoosh" rule, you can reduce the dimensions of the plush significantly, and closer to how it would actually ship.
So for any of yall that looked at it and went "WOAH NO!" please check again.
Yes, international is still high, and ultimately it may even be higher than what we have marked down, by a fair amount (My initial calculations it was about 30% more than the older shipment fees, it's probably closer to 50% now) but we will eat the costs to make sure yall get these in hand at a less than apocalyptic shipping fee.

Hi Everyone,
Small update: We just got the quotes from our fulfillment team and have inputted everything into the system. I'm still going thru DMs and updating everyone's addresses before we lock everything down.
Hang tight, I'm hoping to catch up today. Don't worry if there's issues with address changes, cards for processing shipping, or delays due to unforeseen circumstances, we will get you fixed up before things ship out to you.

We don’t even know where to start.
This has been, without question, the hardest year we have ever faced as a small business and as a family. Between tariffs that kept changing, manufacturing delays, cash flow nightmares, global chaos, and more sleepless nights than we can count… there were moments we honestly wondered if we’d make it through.
But you kept us going. Your patience, your kind messages, your excitement, and your belief in Tentacle Kitty and these Campaign Critters carried us through the darkest stretches. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
Today we get to share the news we’ve been dreaming of for longer than we can count:
Our fulfillment solution is officially in place and executed. The products are ready. And right now, they are in queue to get on the boat!
We don’t have an exact sailing date yet. Freight schedules can shift, and with everything still going on in the world, a lot remains up in the air. But the important part is this:
The critters are coming home.
We need to start processing shipping this week, so please go into your BackerKit account right now and double-check your address. Update it if anything has changed. Any issues, DM me and I'll make sure it's updated correctly. We’ll go through every single one to make sure everything is updated and ready the moment the critters arrive. We wanted to get the process started as soon as possible so that we get as much time as we can to process shipping before the critters arrive for fulfillment so that when they do, they go straight out to you.
Don't worry if you need time to prepare, that's why we are starting now as things are queued up so that there's plenty of time to process.
We will update you in the next day or so when we finalize the shipping as we coordinate with our fulfillment team.
After everything we’ve pushed through together, this moment feels surreal. We’re tired, we’re relieved, and we are so incredibly excited to finally get these critters into your hands.
